September 11, 2013

As I’m perusing Facebook on the anniversary of 9/11, I see so many people posting pictures of the towers and writing statuses calling everyone to remember that tragic day 12 years ago. On that day, I was 13 years old and was going to my brother’s karate class with my mom. I recall one of the other moms asking my mom, “Do you know that the World Trade Center towers have been hit?” That question started a day full of fear, panic, sadness and uncertainty. Our TV was on nonstop for the rest of the week practically, with nothing being aired except for that.

Today, I ask all my readers to remember all those who died that day and to remember how precious life is.
